PDFCreator Print Any Document To A PDF File
This program can create a PDF from any document that can be printed! It installs as a printer and you simply choose it as the printer when you print, to create a PDF from your document.
Why PDF's? Security and portability. Sending .doc or .Xls files is inherently a dangerous security risk. Anybody can change them with Word or Excel on the other end. PDF files are harder to change without special (expensive) software. Yet, they are easily read on any system since Acrobat Reader is free for anyone to download.
Paint.net is free image and photo editing software for computers that run Windows. It was actually developed at a Washington University with Microsoft's funding to be included in Windows operating systems. While that never happened, the project has been continued with private funding and has received rave reviews. It has many of the Adobe Photoshop features, but doesn't cost $700! It's free... Test Your Internet Speed Getting What you're Paying For
Click the speed test and choose Chicago. This will test both your upload and download speeds. Added together, they should come close to the speed you're paying for. For example, 6 mb service should be close to 6000 kbps when adding the two numbers together. If not, you may have network problems or be over paying!
Note: Internet speeds generally slow down just before 5pm EST, then again from 7 - 11pm EST due to the sheer numbers of people online in N. America.
